Zero 7 - Pop Art Blue

I really dig this song - it’s fantastic live, as well. A nice post-lunch groove :D

Any song featuring a stand-up bass is awesome by me

Eluvium - Repose in Blue

I love the fireworks mixed in… a nice touch, and a soft, ambient ending to Thanksgiving Weekend

Here’s a video featuring a few song clips from last night’s Zero 7 show at Terminal 5 in NYC

One of my all-time favorite music videos… not even 100% why. It might be the ambiance of it, the mood… maybe the lighting, which reminds me of the Elysium scenes in Gladiator. The waning, soft light near dusk is a very chilled out time… having spending literally weeks of driving time, that is by far my favorite to travel. Excellent song & transportive visuals = love.

I stumbled across this last year on last.fm- I still listen to Pogo (Nick Bertke)’s 4-track Alice In Wonderland mix, but the vid that caught my attention is above (really cool, check it out).

Reminded of this via tweet from @vanillabean45 earlier!

Moby - In My Heart

One of my favorite songs by Moby - it’s beautiful. For some reason, I always think of my fiancee when I hear it.

“The End” by The Doors

“The West IS the best…”- Jim thought so I guess. So did Tupac Shakur. Not sure I agree- but, then again, you can tell by my attitude that I’m most definitely from New York.

What I can agree with is how awesome The Doors really were, and how fantastic this song in particular is… particularly for a mellow fall day, with beer and such. And, Trader Joe’s Hummus spiked with a little something I like to call “crushed red pepper delight.”

Enjoy, as you ride the mind-way west. Or the snake, to the lake (the ancient lake).

Hevia - Busindre Reel

Give this a chance - gorgeous song, fueled by bagpipes as you’ve never heard before.
