No matter how easy eggs are to prepare, sometimes in NYC you’re just too tired to even look at the kitchen.  So if you want something more than a deli bacon, egg, and cheese sammy for breakfast, refer to Sarah’s list for the bestest eggs this city has to offer.
mascarah:

[Life : List’d ] eggs, Eggs, EGGS: My favs in the N.Y.C.….(so far)
Freemans: poached eggs with cheesy grits & roasted tomatoes
Paprika: green eggs with polenta, tomato
Tartine: eggs norvegienne w/hollandaise & roasted potatoes
Jane: benedict johnny: chicken sausage, corn cakes, roasted tomato hollandaise (or benedict w/ lobster w/spinach as pictured above!)
Spotted Pig: beef hash w/ 2 poached eggs
Westville: Turkey hash & eggs over easy
Little Owl: steak & eggs, texas toast, butter beans
 Barney Greengrass: lox scramble
 Prune: coddled eggs w/chicken
 Norma’s: artichoke eggs benedict
Momofuku Ssam Bar: poached egg w/asparagus
Blue Ribbon: Blue Benedict w/Serrano, Jarlsberg, Tomato
Cowgirl: Country breakfast - eggs, sausage, biscuits, country gravy
Five Points: Baked eggs w/smoked house bacon
Clinton Street Baking Co: Breakfast sandwich - buttermilk biscuits, cheese, bacon & tomato jam.
 Morandi: oyster omelet
Cookshop: skillet eggs with house cured bacon
Bubby’s: gina’s huevos rancheros (if you don’t eat the sour cream pancakes)
7a: scrambled or sunny side up w/salad (carrot dressing!) & toast
Balthazar: eggs en cocette, herb omelette, or eggs w/puff pastry
I know this list is far from complete. NYers…what am I missing?

The only spot I think she missed is Kitchenette in Tribeca (it’s like Bubby’s but better).  I always get the “Lumberjack Breakfast” - two egg (whites) scrambled, two wheat pancakes, and two of the best turkey sausage meatballs you’ll ever lay your lips on.

Oh man, I want eggs right now.

Clinton St Baking Co is by far the best NYC breakfast I’ve ever had
